back-dated!

today, i did my hair into curls at monsoon.. it was totally unplanned n it sorta didn't turn out the way i expected it to. the stylist said the curls wld stretch aft a few washes.. i sure hope so if not its like $400 worth of regret. =(

but no photos until i look decent by my standards n i resent being cheated into video calls. *wahhhh*

yest, went out with weiming aft his ndp shift at the floating platform ended... sorta got to meet alot of his army frens. as in the place was flooded with men in uniform so not surprising lah.. ^^



we went to the back of marina sq to catch the preview NE day fireworks!! haha.. basically i was just sitting around waiting for him to tell me when the fireworks were coming n when it ended. quite alot of fireworks tis yr leh!! 4 different times much to the "ooohhhs" n "ahhhhs" of the crowd. =)



aft abt an hr or so in the rain, it was dinner followed by ice-cream at the new marvelous cream ice-cream palour at citylink mall.. it was gooood! no wonder he kept gushing over it. *yum*

the friday before, junhong, jess, thiamhee, seng wang, cheeleng n me went to raffles shopping centre for donuts!!! n i had to treat cheeleng 999 donuts coz i missed lunch with her.. luckily she let me off at 2. sorry babe, there wun be a nxt time. :P

as there were too many of us n too little seats, we ended up having our "picnic" by the fountains. luckily jess n i who were wearing dresses had enough sense to wear shorts underneath! keke.

YESTERDAY, I SKIPPED A WHOLE DAY OF LECTURES COMPILING BD. GUESS WHAT? I SAVED IT INTO M:// DRIVE N FORGOT TO COPY THE DOCUMENT INTO MY THUMBDRIVE. 8 HOURS OF WORK, 20 PAGES OF WORDS GONE JUST LIKE TT! RAHHHH!

SPENT THE WHOLE NIGHT RE-DOING AMIDST RUSHING THE FINAL TOUCHES FOR FIA. FEELING DARN SATISFIED WITH MYSELF, I LEFT ONLY 1 SMALL PORTION OF BD TO OCCUPY TODAY'S 3 HOUR BREAK. 2 HOURS INTO THE BREAK, I LEFT THE LIB TO MEET TIFIFI FOR LUNCH CARELESSLY LEAVING THE BLOODY THUMBDRIVE BEHIND! DOUBLE RAHHHHHH!

10 MIN LATER, AT FOODCOURT 6, KELVIN CALLED FOR THE FIA REPORT TO BE PRINTED. I LET HIM DO THE PRINTING ALONE WHEN I CLD HV GONE N POSSIBLY REALISED THE MISSING THUMBDRIVE SINCE I OBVIOUSLY HAD TO OPEN IT TO RETRIEVE THE FILE!

AFT LUNCH, YING YING WANTED TO DO BD. TGT WITH TIFIFI N BURGER, I CONVINCED HER TO STAY N SLEEP AMONG SHELVES WHEN I SHLD HV GONE ALONG N MAYB DISCOVER I LOST ALL MY WRK. PERHAPS THE CHANCES OF FINDING IT WOULD BE HIGHER. I MEAN ONLY 30 MIN HAD PASSED WHAT!! IT CLD STILL BE PLUGGED INNOCENTLY AT THE CPU OR THE THEIF CLD STILL BE SITTING AT TT DAMN COMPUTER?!

BUT NOOOOOOOO!!!! I HAD TO WAIT TILL 4 HOURS LATER, GO DOWN TO THE LIB. HAPPILY TALKING TO WEIMING ABT FIREWORKS, START-UP A COMPUTER AND GOT AROUND TO TYPING WHEN LO N BEHOLD, I FREAKING HELL DUN HV A THUMBDRIVE!!! TRIPLE RAHHHH!

EVEN THOUGH MY 2GB THUMBDRIVE WAS A VERY SLEEK BLACK SONY RETRACTABLE THUMBDRIVE WHICH UNDENIABLY IS VERY ATTRACTIVE N NOT TO MENTION NEW!!! (USE FOR 2 DAYS ONLY!) I TOT SP STUDENTS SHLD HV SOME INTEGRITY. AFTERALL, I THINK TTS A SP CORE VALUE. IS IT? DUN CARE LAH!

1 THUMBDRIVE SO DARN CHEAP ALSO WANNA KAPOK. THE LOST N FOUND JUST 10 STEPS AWAY LOR! NV HEARD OF KARMA BEFORE AR?!

WHEN I WAS FUMING ON THE MRT, I TOT ABT SOME UGLY GIRL/GUY FALLING HEAD-FIRST OFF THE 76TH FLOOR OF SWISSHOTEL, THE STANFORD. AS THE BODY HIT THE GROUND, A CEMENT MIXER WENT ACROSS HIS/HER FACE AT 110KM/H FURTHER DISFIGURING THE ALREADY HIDEOUS FACE!

QUITE FUNNY HUR? BUT THANKFULLY, ANGELIC ME DECIDED TO COLLECT GD KARMA N NOT FURTHER ELABORATE ON MY VIVID IMAGINATIONS. PERHAPS THE "FINDER" WLD GO HM N REALISED HIS/HER FOLLY N RETURN IT!

I'M NOT OVER-REACTING IN ANY WAY, U PPL SHLD KNOW HOW MUCH PRESSURE BD PUTS ON US. N THIS KINDA TRICK WHEN THE PRESENTATION WITH THE DISTRICT HEAD N DIRECTOR OF JACK'S PLACE SITTING IN, IS HONESTLY NOT APPRECIATED! GRRRRRRR....

ok done done. =) ranting makes me less angry.. but i still can't help feeling a teensy bit disappointed bcoz weiming called aft hearing abt my loss n said, "girl, dun think so much lah.. wanna come marina watch batman with me n my army mates?" n i had to miss it bcoz i gotta come hm n rush the now incomplete proj!!!!! *sulk sulk*

n batman was a show i wanted to watch, it being the late heath ledger's brilliant portrayal of joker n all. POO!

for the many nights we spent gossiping abt our boyfriends, when i complained abt sch n irritating teachers, for the times we thought back abt our jc background n the many many common friends we shared. for the moments we spent having lunch in n out of sch. for the tears i shed (n you cried along with me) when i broke up.

for the period of consecutive saturdays we spent in funny parts of s'pore - punggol pt. n for the times you sent me hm, all the way back to tamp. for the smses of encouragement n misses, what the heck! for simply being who you are, i thank you so so so much for making such an impact on my life. it hasn't been long, but i miss you already.

junhong, darren, sengwang, xueqin n i went to little india for fun.

we all shopped around for chocs at mustafa centre.
we all had expensive prata n briyani.
the girls threaded our eyebrows n xueqin teared!

but soon, the heat n not to mention "smell" got to us n we headed to plaza sing for a movie n AIRCON!!!! hehe.



we were joined by cheeleng n the movie was well, "matured humour" as expected. lol.

xueqin came back to sp to collect her diploma cert.. cheeleng, jessica n i met her at staff haven for lunch.

aft lunch, it was FO for me n kbox for them n sengwang... POO!



waited for darren aft sch n he treated me to yet another movie at the old jurong entertainment centre (JEC)'s cineplex. the chairs can shake n the adverts flashed on old film cameras n there was even powerpt slides to remind ppl to off their hps! *faints*



aft the movie, it was makan time where we chatted till zingdo closed! but tt wasn't enough for us who then proceeded to the outdoors mac to chat till the last train hm...

while we were chatting darren n sw tried out a fortune-teller sorta machine n we now know how active darren's secret sex life is. muahahahaha!!!

it hasn't been long since my last post but i hv been rather lazy with photos... anyway, better late than nv yeah? haha. =P

pardon the blurness in some pics bcoz my hp camera is a v disappointing 2 mega pix n its not even a gd quality 2 mega pix. zzz.. seeing ting's new digicam, i'm sorely tempted to indulge in one for myself. but sensibility hv led me to forsake the BEAUTIFUL sony t300 lah.. i hv decided not to be overly frivalous on pretty stuff esp when it comes to spending my own money. but if some kind soul wanna get it for my bday which is in less than 2mths *hint hint* i like the red one. =D



cheeleng, weiying (ying zhuang), tiff n i had the new thin-crust viva pizza frm fc 5 before wrk on the 7th of july.. it was going to be our last day as telemarketers bcoz the boss rejected our pay request of $10 per hr. =(

christina has been a perfectly understanding/trusting/flexible manager n although her offer of pay increase up to $8 is pretty decent for such common-sense wrk, tiff's manager was less generous so we both decided to quit - although i still kinda feel bad abt it. haiz.

but back to the pizza.. its on offer now!!! $22 for 2 big pizzas. it was delicious other than the gross, lumpy underside of the pizza slice! look like pimples hor?? heeeee.



met up with the china peeps on 5th of july.. we tried the dimsum buffet at 老北京食堂 at thiong bahru plaza. food was not bad n we ate soooo much to make our $19 worthwhile. the company was great too! esp listening to cairong n eileen making driving jokes out of tiffany. LOL!

though it was the hol, tiff, wanteng, yvonne n i spent long hrs at eatzi goumet (eastpt) n jack's place (parkway parade) conducting our surveys for BD. but jason is a nice manager who always picks up the tab at the end of the day. so everything we consumed was ON THE HOUSE!!! *kiasu singaporeans*



hmm.. i forgot when we ate this.. but malays sure serve better bbq stingray than chinese!

post exams

actually its been quite some time since the exams ended.. but i suppose i hv been sorta lazy to come online bcoz tt wld mean i gotta start doing my BD report. haha.. but at least i hv finished compiling my survey results which tififi is currently still struggling with. =P

anyway, studying for papers while shuttling between driving classes (3 times a wk!!) n jack place restaurants (to do the bloody survey), was a highly unproductive affair! bahx. if those were not distracting enough, my dear daddy had to choose the 2 wks before the papers to visit this sunny island. not tt i'm complaining on tt bit bcoz i totally enjoyed his company! all the fancy dinners n wkend excursions was absolutely fab.

but all the play led to v last min studying n me being a v stressed up girl. =(

but i was still relatively lucky to have...
